Happy July! This past month was primarily dedicated to fixing bugs and making incremental performance improvements, but we still managed to push out a couple new and noteworthy features to help you get the information you need faster and improve your subscription business.
Here’s what we rolled out:
New Feature: Product Feedback
Collecting feedback from your subscribers in now easier than ever with the new Product Feedback feature! This feature allows you to request and review feedback for each and every shipment. With real time data coming directly from active customers, you can solve problems immediately and gain invaluable information and insight into how your customers feel about your products. The best part about this feature is it’s ease of use… all you have to do is mark shipments as ‘shipped’ and the rest is taken care of for you.
What else can you do with this feature? Easily identify customers who love your product and are most likely to score you positively elsewhere. By exporting detailed product feedback, you can then gather email addresses of those customers who scored you highly and ask them to leave a review on your marketplace listing. More reviews on the marketplace is great for social proof, giving you a competitive edge that sells!

More notable highlights:
We have a brand new designer in beta. This designer is the first step in making your theme as flexible as possible by helping you select from hundreds of Google Fonts and sizes, all while keeping your theme mobile friendly throughout the process. To get access and for more information on the designer, email product@cratejoy.com.
Cleaner checkout page experience: the “Estimated Tax” line will not show if the option to collect taxes at checkout is turned off.
If you use the Joybox theme and want to offer ecommerce products, now you can as that functionality has been added.
Cancelled subscribers can remove their pay information: Gone are the days of having to wait for us to do this for you. Your cancelled subscribers can now log into their store account and remove their credit card information. In addition, this update will provide an error message if/when that subscriber reactivates without any saved pay information.
You can now easily sum up Cratejoy transaction fees with the updated transaction export located under Analytics > General > GA by Month > Export > All Transactions.
Over the past month, the marketplace has exponentially increased paid and organic presence for our sellers on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Additionally, we are scaling our YouTube ambassador program that is resulting in increased sales for many sellers! Here’s a couple of our favorite unboxings so far:
- GoldieStarling, beauty vlogger with over 472k YouTube subscribers
- PeruseProject, book vlogger with over 160k YouTube subscribers
We continue to make rapid improvements to the marketplace experience, which includes listing, category, and checkout pages. Our focus remains on increasing presence of our sellers in new channels and driving more sales.
