November 2016 was the best sales month ever on the Cratejoy Marketplace. Even more exciting? The growth we saw wasn’t limited to a handful of sellers, it was widespread across the Marketplace. In total, 920 different sellers got new subscribers directly from the Marketplace, up from 811 in October (up 13% month over month).
The Marketplace is a strong driver of growth for established as well as new sellers. Of the 920 sellers who received new sales from Marketplace in November, 25% had less than 10 subscribers at the start of the month.
And just as November’s growth was spread across sellers, it also spread across over 60 different categories, from known categories such as Art & Culture, Beauty & Fashion, Book Clubs, Food & Beverage to more niche ones like Spirituality & New Age, Anime & Fantasy, Protein & Nutrition, and Sustainable Living.
