Cratejoy is excited to announce that we’ll be throwing a Feelin’ Lucky Contest this March! Anyone who leaves a review for select subscription boxes on the Cratejoy Marketplace between March 4-18, 2019 will be entered for a chance to win some amazing prizes.
If you submit a review, you’re entered to win. That’s pretty much it!
We figured you’d have questions, so we’ve included a breakdown of the basics below.
A contest, you say? What exactly can I win?
Three lucky reviewers will be selected as winners in the Feelin’ Lucky Contest. One prize per winner, of course. Here’s a breakdown:
- First Prize: $500 in cash*
- Second Prize: 6-month prepaid subscription to the box of your choice*
- Third Prize: 3-month prepaid subscription to the box of your choice*
Whoa, that sounds great! How can I enter?
It’s easy! Just follow these few steps to enter the contest:
- Choose a subscription box from this featured collection.
- Write an honest review with a rating. Reviews can be positive or negative as long as they reflect your authentic experience.
- If you wish, upload photo(s) of the box you’re reviewing. (Uploading a photo earns you bonus consideration under “Authenticity” – see our criteria below – but your entry will not be penalized if your review does not include one.)
- Create an account with Cratejoy.

How many times can I enter?
We accept one review per subscription box. That being said, if you feel inspired to leave reviews on multiple boxes you’ve received in the past, go for it.
Can I review any subscription box I want?
We’re specifically looking for reviews of subscription boxes in this collection – you can select any box from that group.
When do I need to submit my review to enter?
We’ll be accepting entry submissions from March 4, 2019 at 12:00am Central Standard Time (CST) until March 18, 2019 at 11:59pm Central Daylight Time (CDT).
How will you choose the winners?
Great question. Cratejoy will judge entries based on the following criteria:

- Readability. The review is written in full, coherent sentences, with a reasonable expectation that the content is clear to the average reader.
- Authenticity. The review is an accurate representation of your experience with the box in question.
- Effort. The review is a thoughtful breakdown of the subscriber experience, per Cratejoy’s determination. In other words, you took a few minutes to draft this.
Winning reviews must be valid, honest, and easy to understand. We want to help subscribers make good purchasing decisions, so reviews that feel too generic will not be considered.
Lastly, it goes without saying that any reviews we deem to be false representations; engaging in inflammatory, bigoted, or offensive speech; do not meet our image and review content guidelines; or that are irrelevant to the subscriber experience will be disqualified.
