I’m pleased to announce our new integration with the CartHook abandoned cart recovery tool.
For those of you who don’t know what abandoned cart recovery is, it’s pretty simple. A cart abandonment occurs when someone partially fills out the checkout page but then leaves without finishing. What if we could find a way to get those people who abandoned to come back and finish purchasing? That is the premise behind abandoned cart recovery.
For the last few months, in partnership with CartHook, we’ve been running a trial of CartHook. We’ve run this trial with a small group of sellers who had at least 1,000 subscribers. The results have been impressive. In two months we’ve seen:
- 2,430 abandoned carts
- 460 recovered carts (a 19% recovery rate)
- $17,000 in initial sales
Remember, these are subscription orders. That $17,000 in recovered initial sales actually translates to north of $100,000 in real revenue.
